Two or three uneventful stream crossings |

Ferns narrowed the Martha's Mile from time to time. There were also two step over blowdowns. |

One might need a hand descending into Martha's Mile. |

Mosquitos were annoying in the first half mile, but chilled out toward the middle of the hike. |

Trail's in great condition and easy to follow. Nice and quiet fourth of July with a little wind at the viewpoints. Moose droppings near Martha summit. Saw no one until my return about a mile out from the trailhead. |
