Trail in fine shape. Yellow Blazing begins at the head of the pond. Removed one blowdown blocking the trail approx 1000 feet before the shelter |

Beautiful early evening hike of this gem. Shelter is in great shape with a fairly new roof. Excellent spot for a beginner backpacking excursion. Steam beside the shelter is flowing nicely. Always amazed at how little foot traffic is out here. |
