Well this one is easier than prior reports indicate!
From the parking spot, enter the recently mowed field and follow to the NW edge where an old road heads north. Follow that road north a short distance and you'll be greeted with an intersection with a recently maintained ATV trail going all the way up to the state border. Found the super-friendly landowners near the top of this road, doing active maintenance in an excavator (thank you!). When the road nears the state border, and turns south, we launched started our whack in mostly good woods. A couple cliff bands that weren't hard to navigate around.
Took us 70 mins up, 40 mins down. |
