 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
The bridge by the picnic area was being replaced so there is no parking in the hiker lot on that side. You also cannot use that bridge so you need to walk around and use the bridge for the campground. There is signage explaining this but there were no dates listed as to when the work will be complete. Parking is much more limited during this project so plan accordingly. |

 | Water Crossing Notes: |
Easily navigated thanks to man made bridges on LL trail. The little stream on Hi-Cannon was easy to step over. |
|
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
There are quite a few blowdowns along Hi-Cannon. Some are just step overs and some have established paths going around them. The erosion on Hi-Cannon is mind blowing. It rivals the KRT from the tram side. |
|
 | Dog-Related Notes: |
The scrambles and ladder on Hi-Cannon could be tricky for less experienced trail dogs. Mine would have looked at me like I had 3 heads if I asked him to climb the ladders but I know plenty of more experienced doggos who would just find their own way up them. |

 | Bugs: |
I think they all died in the heat. Just kidding. They were out but not bothersome today. |

 | Lost and Found: |
There was a grey fleece lined hoodie on the side of the trail near the junction for the Dodge cut off. It looked like it had been there awhile. I opted to just leave it. |
