Nice day for these two peaks. Walked to the right of lodge and ascended via acess road occasionally onto ski trails. Amazing views on the ledges behind the West Mountain Express. Picked up the West Mountain hiking trail which was a welcome change of hiking up the ski slope. Entered woods near the Rosebrook summit lodge for additional change of pace before heading up the last pitch and over the the highpoint of the mountain. Will definitely stop at lodge next time for lunch. Noted several happy folks enjoying the views and food. As crowded as the base was I encountered no one on these two summits |
