Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: All reasonably easy rock hops.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trail is in good shape, with no blowdowns really blocking things. There was one trunk practically on the ground, an easy step-over.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Saw a few, enjoying the trail. Above the main crossing, there isn't much opportunity for watering a dog, other than at the tent site's spring (a very slow flow).
Bugs
Bugs: Mostly not a problem, but noticeable around the tent site. Some biting black flies.

Comments
Comments: An OTHH hike. We figured we'd decide at the top of Liberty if we were going on to Flume. In the end, two did, while the rest of us headed back down. The day was warm, and all that rock on the trail between the ridge and on that long upward stretch to the tent site was tedious and tiring, so we were content to do just Liberty.
