Lower crossings open; any upper crossings are still frozen ice bulges. |

The two dogs I saw seemed to be happy and having a good time. |

| Comments: |
Trail was mostly dry up to the first major ice flows. At that point it was time for microspikes, which worked well all the way to summit and back. Above the first major ice flows, snow and ice increased, but the snow was not to a depth that snowshoes would have been helpful or necessary. On the ascent, I got to see a really nice bull moose today across the stream from me on the lower section of trail. |
