Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Parked at a pulloff/log yard 0.80 away from the parking area for Dead Water Ridge, on Hedgehog Road - Generally due west of the summit. Cedar Stream Road is great condition with the exception of stretch between mile 4.5 and 6.1. At/around 6.0 there is a very bad washout that I was able to clear with a Crosstrek, but I was darn close to bottoming out. Thankfully, I skipped breakfast. Dead Diamond Loop Road is cruiser, too.

Comments
Comments: A FINE day in the forest - 2 of 3 for today. Leaving the log yard and taking the road that generally goes up to the ridge, we left this as soon as possible as its wet and overgrown, and the woods where much nicer. There are lots of old skid paths to choose from and you should have no problem attaining the ridge. Of note, there are three bumps within the same contour band (on those maps that have 20' minors). The recognized bump is the northern of the trio. Interesting summit cone topography had us checking the happy machine to make sure we weren't on our own odyssey. Open and easy mover - 1.8 in 1h
