Comments
Comments: Great loop. Great footing, wide trail on the way up. Took my time exploring the ledges - lots of places for great views. Nice variety of scenery as well; the hike down (I went counter clockwise as described in the AMC guide) from the highest point was much birdier than the beginning and I got a great look at a Chestnut sided warbler that came to check me out. Had the top ledges all to myself which was unexpected, but there had been a couple rounds of light showers and the sky looked moody. Very enjoyable hike with exceptional footing on the way up, per white Mtn standards
