room for a couple cars at pulloff (unmarked - not the signed "Mountain Brook Forest Preserve" which is just up the road) on Elbow Pond Rd in Andover. I parked along the road. |

Dry Trail, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable |

some very large mud holes on the trail - could skirt around them on slippery rocks; other crossings were rock-hoppable, particularly near the falls |

there were quite a few blowdowns - mostly 4-6" diameter including several larger limbs |

very windy so bugs were not bad |

Falls were gorgeous - somewhat like Profile Falls. Easy trail - decent footing. Follows the beautiful brook much of the way. Didn't see a soul. |
