Water Crossing Notes: Many Rock Hops with nice bridge for the feeder stream west of the pond
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trails in great shape, Couple of blow downs but most look like they have been there for a while. One slightly confusing spot crossing a stream with multiple large blow downs. Blazes were few and far between.

Bugs
Bugs: No Bugs!! Too much wind and the cooler temps meant for a bug free hike for a change.

Comments
Comments: Saw no one else out today on these trails. There was a group of 4 enjoying lunch at the picnic tables by the pond on return. Trails were fairly dry today; brought plastic bags just in case. But, there were numerous wet muddy stretches, especially around the pond and surprisingly on the BA trail. Go arounds or rock hops for all. Just west of the rim junction, on the BT, I encountered a pair of pretty aggressive grouse. I quickly diverted over to the BA trail. They started following me, but thankfully stopped. Luckily I had an alternate route, since both trails head towards the campsite. Heard a loon at the pond to top off my hike.

There are 2 registers in the jar, not sure why, some people are signing both. I signed one; Carl was the last person there and he signed the other. Does it matter....
