 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
There were only 2 cars in the lot when I arrived. The road was in fine shape and not at all muddy or potholed. |
 | Surface Conditions: |
Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Mud - Significant |
 | Recommended Equipment: |
 | Water Crossing Notes: |
I was so thankful for man-made bridges today. The recent rain had really increased the water levels and it was moving! |
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
There is one small step over blowdown right before the 3rd bridge as you ascend. It's a little one and easy to step over. |
 | Dog-Related Notes: |
I saw 3 good doggos with their people and was greeted enthusiastically by a large friendly black dog. Dogs know dog people. :) This route is very dog friendly. |
 | Bugs: |
It was cold and windy and totally socked in so there were no bugs. Naturally it cleared and warmed up when I was close to the parking lot and only then did the bugs make an appearance. |
 | Lost and Found: |
There is a variety of interesting items located at the kiosk. I didn't investigate too closely but did see a Stabilicer, the traction of champions. |
