 | Water Crossing Notes: |
Currently not rock hoppable. One has a birch tree that a scooted across on my butt. |
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trail has been eroded in many places. The rain must have been torrential. Trail has significant gouging down the center and lots of gravel has been displaced. Also water is ponding on the trail, running down the trail, across the trail or all three. Looks like a few trees along the trail have fallen due to the erosion. |
 | Dog-Related Notes: |
Yes, especially if they like getting wet. |
 | Bugs: |
None. Probably remember me from last week when I dispatched a few. |

WARNING! You will get wet. Tough outing today trying to keep from getting wet. There was a lot of zigzaging across the trail looking for roots or rocks to keep out of the water. I had to shimmy along the edge of trail with my butt in the trees using my poles to keep from failing into some of the trail ponds. Some sections are very mucky and will pull a shoe off your foot. The gravel/ skree on the steeps are very wet and very loose. Other than a pretty good day. On a positive note there's lots of flowering and the woods smell wonderful. |
