 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
The usual blow-downs, nothing horrible. The widow-maker on 19 MB has been removed. |
|
 | Dog-Related Notes: |
I wasn't sure if there was enough water to take the pup on a hot, 13 mile hike. But surprisingly there would have been. That could be totally untrue in a couple of hot days. |
|
 | Bugs: |
A few black-flies on Carter Dome...just kept moving. |

 | Comments: |
Only saw two other hikers today. Lots of cars but they all must have been at the Hut. 13 miles, 4500' elevation gain. Road walk from Joe Dodge is less than a half-mile but the cars screaming past me makes it a fast walk. |
