Parked off the side by the Red Line trail on Indian Stream Rd. Sign says “end of permitted use” with a picture of an atv. Not sure if cars are allowed beyond but I came down Nichols Rd, which also looked drivable. |

Black flies, yes. |

This was a lot better than expected for the mileage. About 6 miles and 1300’ in under 2:30. Woods were fine, except some wet areas around the north peak. Nothing out of the ordinary for this type of hiking. I saw only one sxs on the way out heading up the redline trail. |
