Bridges over small drainages and a bridge over the Mad River at the first crossing. Got to the second crossing and decided not to attempt it. A couple of trees downstream might work for a more intrepid hiker. That would not be me! |

Moved a number of small limbs that had blown down. A board is broken at the far end of the bridge over the Mad River. |

Pretty quick in and out as there isn't much elevation involved. Saw only 2 people all morning.
The Mad River was rushing fast and furious, so we stopped at the unbridged crossing and admired it's intensity. We were trying to link to our track from the Kanc but no go so will try again from the Kanc at some point, when things are drier.
