Comments: switched plans a few times this morning going north as weather changed radically. Caught a nice window to Pierce.and with an earlier start would have gone wind and mild temps up high but the surprize was....snow!!!!

An inch or 2 up to Mitzpah cutoff..but past there and especially above 3800 feet or so the depths increased to the 6-10 inches of heavy wet snow..some knee deep drifts by the viewpoints and up to Pierce with some great views.. Really nice day out in the woods.. I barebooted the whole day though absent snowshoes might have helped especially around the Webster Cliff Jct
