Parking lot is at the start of Sawyer River Rd. Only one other car there around 8am, and a few more in the afternoon, but still plenty of room. |

I was a bit worried due to the time of year, but it wasn't bad. With some effort I was able to find a way across without getting my feet too wet. |

Several blown-downs that can be stepped over, and one that had to be ducked under. |

Didn't see any dogs, but I think they'd be fine on this trail. |

Nice day for this hike! If you haven't heard, the round trip is now 4 miles longer due to the road being closed. (Rumor has it the closing might be permanent.) A few muddy spots but mostly dry trail. |
