Comments
Comments: We went out and back via the Ledges. We were concerned about the difficulty of that. It was slightly muddy but totally avoidable. First 2 miles were relatively easy. The slabs were pretty easy as well before the climb. Once the climb really started, rocks? roots? stairs? YES. Your typical New England Whites. Steep and rugged. The ledges were terrifying going up, but not down somehow. We found them to be easier descending. Once you see where you're going, it's not difficult. Lots of hand holds where you need them most.
