The trail was pretty much ice going up and down both osceola and east osceola. You are safer wearing crampons once you start up the steep areas. microspikes made for a tough time. I wore my HD crampons and walked down the ice w/o incident. Ice was pretty nonexistant for the first .5 miles, then the trail required micros for safety purposes. |
