A good bit of erosion on portions of the HCT. Some blowdowns along the way but all small. The new boardwalk on Lonesome Lake loop is beautiful! Looks like it was just finished within the last week or so. |

Picked up a Poland Springs water bottle and empty jar of Planters peanuts. People just leaving their trash right on the KRT. Shameful! |

Gorgeous day in Franconia Notch. Low winds and cool weather; trails were mostly dry with some mud, but not substantial or overwhelming. First time on Hi Cannon in 10 years, high up was less sandy and a little muddier than I remember! |
