 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
First switchback turning to ascender’s left at about 2500 feet has path outside the rock steps that could be brushed in. There is a 10-12 inch blowdown around 3000 feet that is split vertically so it’s impossible to step over and difficult to go under and a herd path is developing around it. I cleared several blowdowns off the upper flat section but I didn’t have time to clear 2 remaining 4-6 inch blowdowns. |

Beautiful day with comfortable temperatures. Views from the Downlook and the perch above the ladders, not to mention from the crag at the Flume Slide junction and the summit were terrific! No summer haze so western views extended to the Green Mountains. A couple trilliums were flowering along Osseo Brook just after starting up the Osseo Trail. |
