Comments
Comments: seemed like a return to winter at times today. nice dry trail to around 2700 feet..put on the spikes there and they were adequate the rest of the way. just enough snow and ice remain to fill in some of the larger steps. most of the ledges open and dry. mudpits still frozen over . windy and blustery along the ridge with occasional spits of sleet and blowing snow gave this hike a january feel at times. decent views to the north and east and at times the carters cleared out as well..did not look pleasant on the Presis. a fine day out with bryan and Ali
