Basin Bushwhack is easy to follow if you know where to turn off from the bike path. Liberty Spring Trail is bare ground until past the water crossing then steadily the snow deepens with rocks sticking out until they're all burried. Franconia Ridge is choppy and packed with a monorail starting to form. Flume Slide trail is bare rock, old snow, thin ice, two decent ice flows, care required to navigate, wore microspikes down this part. Rest of Flume Slide Trail has minor snow quickly dissapearing. |
