Comments
Comments: Bare-booted all the way to Middle and back to North, then donned spikes which made the descent from North much easier. On my way up I heard some voices off trail, so I yelled: "did you miss the trail"...they finally heard me. This was at the bottom of the steeps after the last crossing. When I headed back down from North a couple hours later, they were just 'summitting'. I hope they didn't bother tagging Middle because they'd still be out there. Also passed 3 young dudes who came up Sabbaday Trail, heading for Middle. But they didn't have spikes so they turned back. Middle was easy without spikes, both up and down. In a week, this hike can be done with trail runners.
