Comments
Comments: A FINE day in the forest was had. We where going for a pair today and opted for the harder one first. Boy did luck shine on us today. We found the throat of a logging line off 26, not posted or anything, and went into the woods. The fella as mentioned to the right has his lot heavily posted all along his lot, there is no question. We gave this guy a pretty wide berth out of respect. We followed this log line that opens up away from the road for a bit until it curves away and then we just took a bearing straight at the summit. About halfway into this one mile trek, we picked up a braided skid line that took us to within 50' of the summit, and moose paths to the rest. We did hang a jar on what we thought was the high point. There are several here all very close but both of our phones separately confirmed the stump at being 2164, and the peak is 2170(T). There is a rock outcrop with a decent view preceding this, which we had at 2161. We went around for a good 20 minutes hitting all the possible high points, its jail cell dark stuff in there, no point of reference for height. We also confirmed via the 500 highest cal topo that we where on what is listed as the summit location, so there we go! Out and back in 1h45, could have been much faster if we weren't lollygagging looking for treasure
