 | Comments: |
This was a long day for us! The new snow covered all so it made it more challenging with careful foot placement and navigating the bushwhacks with everything covered. Lincoln woods was solid on our way in and we wore spikes most of the day.
Lots of unstable snow and monorail hidden beneath. The way up was much harder but after all the groups we all cleaned off the new snow and it was better on the way down.
Ice is beneath some so going down Brutus was slow and careful as usual.
It was a mixed bag of everything.
On the way out there was lots of bare ground as the sun melted the new snow fast. Glad this one is done for April! |
