Water Crossing Notes: The one small stream crossing near the trailhead is easily hopped. 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Several long term blowdowns remain on Helen's Trail; some of them have been there for years. One blowdown on Summit Trail shortly above the old snowmobile groomer.

Bugs: No wasps at the large cairn on Rose. Yet.

Comments
Comments: As of today, this route was a mix of thin snow (not more than a half inch) and bare ground with some wet and muddy spots. No ice encountered. I imagine all this should disappear in the next few days.

For a Wednesday, it was fairly busy here! A hiking group from Temple was out along with a couple other folks.
