Comments
Comments: Bare ground, minimal snow, ice, standing water, and rocks until the upper crossing. From the crossing to the A-Z junction, the trail has snow coverage and is firm, a little uneven, but mostly in good shape. A-Z Trail to Mount Tom Spur had a fresh two inches of snow over firm but frozen-choppy conditions, with some ankle twisters hidden under the fresh fluff. Mount Tom Spur was in decent shape.

I used rock spikes up and down with no issues. Expect mostly solid/frozen choppy snow until Thursday afternoon, when the weather starts to warm up, then you can expect sticky spring snow, a little sliding around, and some punching through.
