 | Comments: |
Barebooted to hut and then put on micro spikes. Six inches of new snow in upper elevation. Patty used full crampons. Both traction devices were useless from balling. Trail too Bonney for snow shoes. So the 3 of us bare booted the entire loop. Very frustrating since we kept slipping off the monorail. Patty said, "all you need is patience, poles & a good sense of humor." We were rewarded with endless views and had a fantastic but exhausting day. |
