Wonderful day to get up Mt. Liberty. Sunshine, no wind, and kind of warm. Fantastic 360 views. Trail dry below but half way up you hit the snow. Microspikes could handle it all including the monorail towards the summit. Used new crampons coming down but only because I wanted to try them out. Noted a few campers using the Liberty Spring Tentsites. Great day and way to celebrate Lady Katherine's 61st! |
