Dog-Related Notes: I had my dog with me. We met people with two black shepherds. One was nice and the other was not. They tied him to the tree for us to walk by. He still tried to lunge at us.

Comments: Hard packed trail right from the tracks. Most of the trail was in good shape. Up higher you can see where there had been water running down the trail creating deep ruts in the snow/ice. Hillsounds were a great choice of traction.
