The first water crossing, 1mile in, was running very fast. Follow the snowshoe tracks upstream to a log to walk across. |

My dog was very happy to be on trail to celebrate her 10th birthday and Tom her first swim of the year! She hated crossing the log on the way up, but did so willingly on the way back. |

The snow in the middle part of the trail is going very fast. Lots of bare ground.
Snow bridges are melting, it's a wet trail, but other than the one big crossing, no other issues.
Not enough snow left to bother bringing snowshoes, but you WILL sink if your foot goes anywhere near the edge of the very thin monorail |
