Comments
Comments: The trail was frozen over this morning. I put on micro spikes at the start of the day and wore them until I came down from lonesome lake at the end of the day. From below the ladder to where things flatten off on top was very icy.
As I worked towards the tower I heard what sounded like muffled shots which turned out to be ice falling off the antenna of the tower onto the viewing platform. I went to the top and came back down quickly.

Kinsman Ridge Trail coming off Cannon could be hazardous and some people would want to use crampons. I worked my way down carefully and went over the cannon balls to the Kinsman's. The monorail on that section of trail was quite beat up.

North to South Kinsman was easy going with a stable monorail and nice wide trails thanks to the master trail maintenance of JR!
The trip down Fishing Jimmy was not to bad due to the softening of the ice and the snow from a few days ago giving traction.

All the while it was clouding through the course of the day but still quite pretty.
Nice day, good to beat the rain.
