Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Snow - Packed Powder/Loose Granular, Wet Trail, Ice - Blue, Ice - Breakable Crust, Snow/Ice - Monorail (Stable)

Recommended Equipment: Light Traction 
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: No problems, but be careful crossing the first stream. We were out early and there was ice on the tops of the rocks. No rock hopping that early. 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trail was in great shape, but could use a few more blazes along the stream section. I broke trail for those behind, from the two inches or so that came down Thursday night. 
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Zuzu had a great time (my Golden). Yet she has enjoyed all the 4000 footers so far. Yes Waumbek, that was my dog you saw.
