 | Comments: |
We tried spikes on 19 Mile, but the snow was balling up, so we barebooted up until it got steep. At that point, we switched to snowshoes and wore them until the ski area. The steep climb up to A was a bit sketchy, with a lot of loose side-hilling. The ridge was previously postholed, but not awful. Happy to have snowshoes here. We used out little sleds on the ski slopes down, laughing at ourselves as we went. Overall, take your snowshoes, and enjoy the last of winter! |
