Comments
Comments: Snowshoes on to start and all the way up & over and back down to the view spur. K-10s from here down to 3000' and then swapped back to snowshoes to the road. Down low def got spongier from warm temps but not very sticky. Steeps are manageable but not enjoyable. True summit is broken out, Tripoli road side is unbroken from there down. Very boney from 3000' up to the viewpoint, conifers still have some deep snow pockets. Much better snowshoeing conditions above 4000' but very narrow and postholes on the edges were well filled in from yesterdays storm so the edges require care for foot placement . Still a couple weeks away from being monorail and the bypass of the bypass was once again an advanced limbo challenge merp
