We parked at the AMC lodge parking lot across from the trailhead. Not many cars in the lot. Shem Valley Road was rutted and partially iced. Recommend 4WD. |

Terrific afternoon hike. Spikes were ok but once snow softens up, you will posthole. Lots of moose postholes along and crossing trail. Actual falls were running good. Trail on the sidehill to view the keyhole was kinda sketchy....if you fall, you would have a loooong way to go before you splash into the pool! |
