 | Comments: |
Mixed bag of conditions again today with lots of ice on the Piper Mountain Trail hiding under the light snow from Friday night. A few patches of bare ground down low in full sun but otherwise consistent snow/ice coverage. No recent tracks from the throne on Piper heading towards Whiteface. Old Piper Trail was awful. Deep post holes with choppy monorail that was stable this morning. Some post holes upwards of 2-3 feet deep. I made first tracks since the last snow on the White Trail below the Old Piper Trail. Lots of hidden ice here as well. Carriage Road was snow covered with hidden ice. |
