The early part of the trail was a mix of dry trail and patches of ice. Ice increased on the exposed rock before and after Mt. Surprise. Then back to hard-packed snow and ice, mostly snow closer to the summit. Really just a lot of ice - some of it required a bit of care to navigate around. Microspikes door to door. |
