Comments
Comments: Today was a great day to check out some waterfalls! Fallsway Trail has several. I wore snowshoes, but spikes would have worked out okay. There is some unconsolidated snow along the trail but only for short distances. The water was flowing nicely and the water falls beautiful.

Spoke to a couple guys on their way down Valley Way from Madison. They said the last two miles to the hut had a narrow monorail with several hikers slipping off the sides and postholing. I hiked the first 1.25 miles and found it a mix of ice and bare ground at the start, followed by frozen granular, unconsolidated snow, with lots of postholes. It just got too warm for me and I overdressed. So I decided to enjoy the falls instead. There were several hiking in the area today. I'm hoping someone posts a trip report for Madison/Adams.
