Comments
Comments: Spring conditions are here. Mashed potatoes throughout with sporadic bare ground and icy stretches. Bare rocks in spots at upper levels. Highly recommend not listening to siren song of the microspikes as emerging narrow monorail is soft at best even with snowshoes I was still postholing in spots. Made a slight wrong turn .3 before spur and whacked over to the trail finding snow depth still quite deep in spots. Today's hike alternated between micros/ss and back again several times. Beautiful views at the summit
