Comments
Comments: I did the loop clockwise, starting with Whiteface and then heading over to Passaconaway. I put snowshoes on around mile 2 and kept them on for the rest of the day. Spring snow conditions are definitely creeping in. On the upside, snow did not ball under my snowshoes, but the major downside was frequently post-holing with any misstep off the exact center of trail. Snow conditions were helpful for the ledges since I had good traction with my msr revo ascents, though there is some exposed rock now though, which was a little trickier to navigate in snowshoes. I didn't see anyone until I got to Passaconaway where I saw one other person doing the loop and about 10 people who may have only done Passaconaway as I did not see their tracks earlier in the day.
