Waist deep water crossings with no way around on the way up to Hale. Also unstable trail with water flowing under unstable trail. Turned around to go back down Zealand trail and many streams flowing through the trail that were waist deep. |

Wait for a freeze cycle. Streams are too wide to pass. Constant post holing with snow shoes the whole way. |
