Comments
Comments: East Pond Trail from the Kanc to Tripoli Road has been broken out by many skiiers and snowshoers. The only drifting was at the height of land between Scar Ridge and West Osceola, everything else was easy going. At East Pond, the trail toward Little East Pond was NOT broken. I broke this out about halfway to the pond and gave up. Ample moose sign and very deep snow in this area. The Tripoli Road end of the Little East Pond loop is also not broken so I'm not sure that pond has been visited at all this winter.

I guess I mistakenly thought Tripoli Road was a popular snowmobile route, but I saw no evidence of snowmobile travel between East Pond trail and the Mt. Osceola Trail. However, it was broken out by snowshoers pulling a pulk and was easy to travel.
