 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Dummer Ponds Road and Philips Brook were plowed very wide, no trouble when a logging truck passed. There was a spot plowed by the start of the unplowed access road (Fish Brook) to park. A snowcat had been up it, and one also drove by coming from the North on the plowed road. |

 | Comments: |
A fine afternoon hike, 4 miles total and 1,100’ of gain. I walked the road on choppy cat tracks, then when I came to the gate with the no trespassing sign I bushwhacked up in great woods with decently supportive snow the last 0.7 miles, cutting the corner and staying off the road. There is a jar hung at the top but no pencil. I didn’t bother to sign in. Lots of moose sign, and good views from the road. |
