 | Comments: |
Mt Tecumseh trail and the Welch-Dickey Loop are hard packed snow sidewalks; spikes were fine today. Sosman is softer, could use some snowshoe grooming when it warms. The bushwhack conditions vary. Some places we only sank six inches, others three feet, but generally good conditions. The start was difficult; we didn't find any way on my old track and followed yellow blazes directly down from White, to the east of my previous route, with no cleared pathway. The signs at Green and Foss are gone as is the sign-in log on Green. This isn't a trip you should try without a GPS track. |
