 | Comments: |
Trail was quite firm after last night's deep freeze and temperatures staying below freezing today. Even though this trail faces south and is one of the first to melt out each spring, full snow cover remains. Microspikes or snowshoes would suffice on the heavily trafficked main trail (wouldn't venture onto secondary trails without snowshoes). Snowshoes will be needed when tomorrow's storm moves in, as well as with the forecast warm weather arriving Wednesday.
Brisk, sunny afternoon with temperatures in the 20s. |
