 | Comments: |
Parked at the Flume parking lot, took Meetinghouse to Liberty Springs to Franconia Ridge. Could have saved some time by parking at the Gorge parking lot just an exit up. Snowshoes the whole way. Could have used micros just as well. Trails are packed down and mostly free from post holes. The edges of the trails are where your gonna sink. As previously reported by others, the hike from Liberty to Flume has many trees that have bent over the trail that needs some navigation through. I would advise using caution and taking time due to the real risk of tearing something on the branches. |
