Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Parked near the area where the snowmobile crossing is. I don't know the whole story, but it looks like the trailhead used to start at the end of the road. Now that part of the trail is littered with branches and stumps. On the way back down, based on the placement of the signs, it seemed like it had been rerouted to meet up with the snowmobile trail and go down to the parking lot next to the crossing.

Comments
Comments: Trail was packed to start, but toward the end started to give a bit in the warmer temps. Some of us used microspikes and others crampons, though microspikes seemed to clump more easily. We brought snowshoes and used them for a bit, but they seemed like overkill. Some of us bare-booted for a portion of the hike. Fantastic hike for the winter!
